BeInCrypto Stage Brings Together Global Leaders at Rio Innovation Week 2026

For the fourth year in a row, BeInCrypto is participating in Rio Innovation Week (RIW) with a stage dedicated to the future of finance, bringing together some of the key leaders in global financial market transformation.

This year, the program will bring together regulators, executives from the largest financial institutions in Brazil and the world, pioneers of blockchain technology, and companies leading innovation in financial infrastructure. Throughout the debates, participants will discuss how digital assets, artificial intelligence, and new technological architectures are reshaping the global financial system.

Major Participants of Rio Innovation Week 2026

Our curation reinforces BeInCrypto’s commitment to fostering dialogue between traditional financial institutions, digital asset companies, policymakers, regulators and the global technology ecosystem, underlines Aline Fernandes, in charge of stage content.

Confirmed participants include representatives from Binance, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), Visa, Circle, Nubank, BNY, Mercado Bitcoin, Solana Foundation, B3, Bradesco, Crypto.com, Ledger, Rezolve AI, and Tether, as well as other organizations that have been leading the industry.

In this edition, the program expands the debate beyond cryptocurrencies and shows how digital assets and onchain solutions are being incorporated into the traditional financial system. The panels will cover topics such as programmable money, tokenized assets, prediction markets, real-time settlement, artificial intelligence, and international payments.

Prediction markets, tokenization, and stablecoins lead the debates

One of the highlights of the program will be the panel “Who can price the future? Prediction markets, regulation and the new frontier of investments”. João Accioly, director of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), and Roy Shaham, CEO of Rain Protocol, who will be coming from New York especially for the conference, are both confirmed for the panel.

The debate will address one of the biggest financial market innovations in recent years: regulated prediction markets. Do they represent the next evolution of derivatives or the emergence of a new asset class? Issues such as investor protection, financial innovation, regulation, and global competitiveness will be at the heart of the discussion.

Stablecoins will also occupy a prominent position on the “Money Never Sleeps Again panel. Stablecoins and the new global financial infrastructure”, bringing together executives from Circle, Visa and Nubank.

The conversation will showcase how programmable money is transforming payments, treasury management, and financial services, cementing stablecoins as one of the key infrastructures of the new digital economy.

Is crypto foreign exchange?

Regulation is another central thread. “Is crypto FX? The regulatory debate that could reshape Brazil’s digital asset industry” brings together legal specialists and industry leaders, including Rocelo Lopes, to discuss how the evolution of Brazil’s regulatory framework will shape innovation, institutional adoption, and the country’s competitiveness in the digital economy.

Another strategic session is “Crypto for billions: the race for the next generation of financial services,” with executives from BNY, Binance, and Crypto.com. It will look at how banks, asset managers, fintechs, and global financial institutions are integrating onchain solutions into consumer and enterprise products.

The stage will also host the talk “What can the financial system learn from the onchain economy?”, with representatives from Mercado Bitcoin, Bradesco, and Binance. The discussion will explore how the infrastructure built around Pix is beginning to converge with blockchain networks, programmable money, and real-time settlement — bringing together two of the most significant models of financial innovation today.

Capital markets, interoperability, and the future of money

Capital markets modernisation is the focus of the panel “The next R$10 trillion market. Tokenised equities, electronic trade receivables and the new generation of digital assets,” which will bring together representatives from the Solana Foundation, B3, and Brazilian financial system authorities.

Another highlight is “The new consensus on money. Why competitors decided to redesign the future of stablecoins together.” The session will explain why companies once competing for the same customers have begun cooperating around interoperability, shared infrastructure, and new settlement models — laying the groundwork for the next generation of digital financial services.

The programme also includes a necessary conversation: “Does the crypto voter exist? How the digital economy reached the ballot box,” held in partnership with Juntos por Cripto, a Brazilian movement inspired by the international Stand With Crypto organisation. The debate will examine the profile of the so-called “crypto voter,” the growing influence of digital asset users in public debate, and the role the sector could play in Brazil’s 2026 elections.

According to the movement, its global network counts more than 3.75 million supporters, roughly 1.2 million contacts with legislators, and over 100 partner organisations worldwide.

Experts Network by BeInCrypto

During RIW, BeInCrypto will launch the Latin American chapter of its Experts Network, bringing industry leaders together across four global councils dedicated to strategic themes: Markets Intelligence; Legal & Regulatory; Institutional Strategy & On-Chain Finance; and Emerging Technologies & Artificial Intelligence.

“The CVM is leading discussions on regulating prediction markets, the central bank has turned Pix into one of the most advanced instant payment systems in the world, B3 is preparing to launch tokenised equities this year, and XP has signed a partnership with Kalshi to offer regulated prediction markets to Brazilian investors for the first time,” says Luís de Magalhães, BeInCrypto’s Team Lead for Latin America.

“These transformations aren’t happening in isolation, but the people driving them rarely sit at the same table. That connection is exactly what the council aims to create,” Magalhães adds.

The report, The Exodus Economy, will be available from 00:00 BRT on August 5, 2026.

With more than 200,000 attendees expected, RIW has established itself as one of the leading venues for discussion of technology, business and innovation.
